Insurtech Systems was established in 2004 to better manage IT Development and Maintenance for a group of companies owned by Principal Don McKenzie.

The companies were diverse by business type, ranging from Currency Trading to Insurance Building Repairs and therefore required a broad range of IT-tools.
The Insurtech System was designed with a clear vision, it had to meet these six basic design principles:

• Easy to use, intuitive
• To suit many different business applications
• Written in an open source language for ease of development
• To be web-based, providing portal access for both input and download
• Easily adapted and improved to meet new business requirements and new technologies
• To easily interface with customers, clients and suppliers

Since establishment, its award winning systems have taken Insurtech on a path of rapid growth and market expansion. Insurtech now provides IT solutions to a number of construction companies, professional service providers and financial service companies.
